There's a Trismegistus without a Junpei (?) in the Mall. Trying and failing to free itself from ropelights that it managed to get itself tangled in. It's fighting tooth and nail against the unseen enemy, trying to fly hard and fast to untangle itself and only becoming more tangled. Why is everything so bright and loud and blue in this place? It

[Well, hi, fellow Shadow. We'd help you out, just because you're in the way, but it's kind of hard to get close when you're flailing like that. So we'll just wait over here for the moment. Feel free to notice.]

It pauses in its flailing to catch its breath, and that's when it notices the other Thing standing near it. It voices something like a chirp and a growl, beating its bronze wings once or twice before settling down. Help, Thing. He can't get loose, see?

[A language you might remember hearing, once upon a time. A long, thin sword is pulled from nowhere. Since you've already disconnected those lights from their power source, S!Naoto begins to cut through them. How in the world did you manage to get this tangled before you fell?]

Those words...it knows what they mean. How? He speaks in song and in searing cries and low monotonous mumbles. Sad trilling when he is visiting the Weeping One. never sounds that mean something so definite.

But he understands. And he stays still as the Thing cuts through the tethers.

Trismegistus focuses on the...strange Thing standing near him. No, not a Thing. Something else. A New Thing. Or is it an Old Thing? It can't tell. Something about the...the...

Human.

Human? What was that? It felt as if it should know.

Its name. There's a memory somewhere in here, something just out of its perception, of calling and being called, that name. It wants to remember, but there is a haze of...something clouding its memory of that time.

No. Wait. Don't go!

It screams shrilly as it tries to follow, managing to stand up and take a single step before tripping and falling forward again.

*It's not long before someone hears the Shadow's pitiful crying. A Virtue flies up, hovering uncertainly as he takes in how completely the being has tangled itself in the lights.*

Is that...a Thing? Maybe. Maybe not. He gives the other a shrill cry as he tries to free himself again. Hey, you! You're not tangled! Give him a hand here, will ya?

*Virtue flies over to see what he can do, but...man. You're tangled up pretty badly here...*

Juno was confused. This place was so bright. She's never seen it before, never. But her confusion quickly gave way to worry when she heard the other.

She wasn't far, so she eventually manages to float over in small spurts. Strangely, the other one is larger than she remembers (or perhaps she was smaller?), but that doesn't matter. Juno reaches for the cords, trying to loosen them.

Oh hey! It's that one Thing. The one that can't play all that well. He stills as she approaches, making decidedly happy sounds in his throat as she tries to untangle him. Is he ever glad to see you!

Juno returns the sounds with similar ones mentally- using the voice only certain others can hear, for some reason. Hers are tinged with concern, however. He's tangled up rather badly, so this could take a while. She leans on him, trying to reach the cords binding his wings.

Ah, that Voice. Always so soft and gentle, sweeter than the warm winds that blow through the ruins. He leans on her in return, shifting as close as he can so she can access the cords wrapped around his body.

He sings to her quietly, "telling" her about how he went high, high up on the Tower, and saw the Prince. He wants to take her there sometime. She would like him! He has beautiful wings, even prettier than Trismegistus', and for that he's a little jealous, but the Prince was kind to him, and so that is all that matters.

Don't mind this robot, he's just...hiding as he stares at this, uhh...whatever it is. A loose Persona?

It flops around on the ground more before laying still, catching its breath. It's at this time that the loose Persona notices the Thing that looks a lot like the machine that wanders around the ruins. Well, that's good. The machine is always fun to play with!

...That sounds like Junpei-san. Why does it sound like it should be Junpei-san?

He hesitates for awhile before running over and staring at what's trapping it. It's rather like Junpei-san's Persona except...different, somehow. Maybe evolved?
