Revised 4-11-2010

So I don't have to repeat myself.

Why a Mary Sue journal?

I want evil lesbian minions like pottersues. It seemed like a good idea at the time and the other two Sailor Moon journals only lasted about a month before they were abandoned.

I also have this weird fascination with Mary Sues. Call it a nasty case of Bile Fascination, but I like reading MS fics and seeing what crazy crap people come up with. Though nowadays, the journal has pretty much devolved to "I read Otaku Senshi fics and comment on the characters in them snarkily."

How does your rating system work?

It's 1 to 5, 1 being a non-sue and defeating the purpose of the journal's name, 5 being the worst. Simple, right? Of course, this is just my opinion. You are free to disagree with it.

Some 3s and anything below that are usually either non-sues or really flat characters with little description.

Do you actually read ALL of a story? Even if it's 20 or more chapters long?

Yes, I will always make an attempt to read all of a story. It's only fair. Though, I may start skimming after a while if it's really long and tedious.

Why do you do so many old stories?

I prefer to do stories that have had time to get going and find their stride or are complete. Doing stuff fresh off of the "Just In" page on FF.net doesn't really seem fair and usually makes for boring entries. Plus, all of the "juicy" bits usually happen later in a story.

There is already a entry on [character] in one of the other two sue journals. Why are you doing one?

I usually don't think about checking the other journals until I've finished an entry. So there may be some overlap. Plus, I want to give my opinion on the character and the story may have been changed or added on to since then.

What the hell does spork/purple prose/urple prose/wangst/Earth logic/Pit of Voles/Canon/Fanon mean?

To mock or a combination of a spoon and fork/overly flowerly descriptive language in a story/REALLY overly descriptive language in a story/overblown angst/common sense or any natural law that can't be broken/fanfiction.net/the actual storyline and facts as dictated by Naoko Takeuchi/storylines and facts made up by fans.

My fic is on here, you bitch!

If you don't want anyone talking about it, you shouldn't have posted it where everybody could see it. Also, check the rating. It might not be that bad at all.

And no, I won't remove my entry.

Oh my god, if you don't like it, don't read it! It's as simple as that.

This would be a really boring journal if I didn't actually read the stories. Plus, you need to read something to know whether or not you like it.

Why don't you stop flaming people and give constructive criticism?!

Because oc_analysis has a whole slew of people who can do that a lot better than I can. This journal is for ranting and not meant to be linked to in reviews. (It's hosted on a blog service, after all. That person who gave you the link wants to watch you and your friends throw a shitfit. Unless that person was your friend. Then of course that's probably not the case.) If I wanted to give concrit, I would leave it on the story's review page.

My god, you're the Hitler of SM fanfic!/I bet you were the mean bitch that everyone hated in school!/Well, let's see YOU write a fanfic before you tell me that mine sucks!/You're just jealous of me!

Read Godwin's Law, Snacky's Law, Ebert's Law, and Not-Bob's Law, respectively. Now stop using those arguments as they do not work.

Yes, I have written fanfics and OCs and Mary Sues. Most of them aren't on the internet anymore.

You bitch, this is my only source of comfort since my grandma died/my goldfish died/my parents died/I'm picked on in school/I have a possibly life-threatening operation coming up/I have [insert disorder here]/I'm only [insert age here]/etc.

Are you really taking something a complete stranger said about your story that hard? If it was your source of comfort, you wouldn't care what anybody thought, took the constructive advice, and went on with your life. Also, don't go professional, (you'll get crushed) and let me be the first to welcome you to the internet.

If you're under 13 and I got your story from FF.net, you shouldn't even be on there. Read the Terms of Service.

Also, how do I know that you're not lying about that stuff to gain sympathy?

I hate you!/Get a life!/You're a faggot!

Okay, you're entitled to your opinion. Just don't bother flaming me. I'll just ignore it.

Also, I do do other things in my spare time (I don't even write these things everyday), I have a job that does not involve flipping burgers, and I am in a steady relationship with a man, in case your insults involve one of those things.

Who is your favorite Sailor Senshi?

I don't have one.

Who is your favorite Otaku Senshi?

At the moment, Heroine of the Valley's Lydia MacGreggor/Sailor Rainbow. See the Deep Hurting section for my entries on her.

You seem really jaded and bitchy.

Jaded, yes. Bitchy, no. Don't worry, I don't bite.

WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SAILOR EARTHS?!

It's because all of the planets in our solar system and our own moon have their own magical girls and a lot of fanfic writers don't want Earth to feel left out.

Basically, the way I see it, it's much easier to make a Sailor Earth (or Sun) than it is for anything else. It makes sense that the Earth would have its own senshi (if the moon has one, why doesn't Earth?) and it would allow the OC to be closer to the canon characters.

If you ask anyone that's been in the fandom for a while about this, they will tell you that Mamoru/Darien is the canon representative for Earth since he holds the sailor crystal for it. If he were a girl, he would be Sailor Earth and there would be a hellofalot more Sailor Suns than there already are. But since he has a penis and spends most of his time supporting and protecting Usagi/Serena and the others, people sometimes ignore this fact if they know it already.

Your icons made me LOL! Who made them?

"Sailor Hot Topic" was made by the incredibly talented Mimi and "IM IN UR FANDOM..." was made by grand_sealink of JournalFen in response to the SailorRyo-Ohki/AngelRaye Wank.

What did you use to make those dolls?

I use either SailorXv2 or DracheaRannak and DollDivine's Sailor Senshi Maker depending on which has the right accessories or would look better. I'd draw them myself. But I can't draw. :p

You made a doll of one of my characters. Can I use it?

Of course. It's your character. Credit would be nice though. Not just for me, but for the doll generator makers, who require it.

What the hell happened to you during that 2 year hiatus?

Real life stuff, a lack of interest, and one hard drive crash.
