I love those TV adverts for Apple's iPhone that start "If you love facebook so much..." because I always end up shouting "WELL WHY DON'T YOU MARRY IT THEN?!" at the TV (link)... but really, loads of people use Facebook now!... or how about Jaiku? or Twitter? every single one of those has a status that can be updated ( Read more... )

I've started using ping.fm to update my Plurk and Twitter accounts at the same time and the only thing it was missing was a way to update from my mobile without racking up my data charges (orange aren't brilliant on data bundles).

Is the service still working? I'm haivng trouble posting to my ping.fm account. Admitedly the first time was because I got my user ID wrong. However, I've got it right now and checked the ID by sending an email to ping.fm.
