Summary: Rose, Scorpius and their best friends, Albus Potter and Ignatius Longbottom, go camping for the week. Albus and Iggy half-heartedly try to play matchmaker, but don't realize that the ship has already sailed.

I really liked your interpretation of the prompt! It was fun! Wizarding camping is really quite cool :)
The build up of tension was really good.

I can't believe this only has one review... must be a Friday posting curse!

I thought you did an amazing job. I love how we find out what split of Scorpius and Rose and how they bring it all back together. I thought you had some great insight into what kind of dares young men would make a girl friend of theirs do if they were drinking and attracted to her. Thought the camping aspects were well done too. Sounds like you maybe have been camping a few times yourself. Overall, a really nicely done fic. I enjoyed it tons!

I really like the 'future' feel of this. It feels modern, it feels next gen.

The end feels really natural and a great stopping point- letting us imagine where the story goes next.

I loved so many of your details in this fic--such as Iggy's having a blue mohawk and Rose's owning knickers that say "Harpy" across the bum, lol. I also was glad someone besides me puts Rose in Slytherin. ;)

I adored this story! All of the characterizations were excellent, and I loved the anticipation between Rose and Scorpius. I kept wondering what had happened between them . . . Poor Rose and Scorpius! Worst nightmare not only to get caught by a professor but a friend of Rose's parents. Neville gets serious brownie points that he didn't tell on them. That sounds very Neville-like to me. :)

This is BRILLIANT!

I love so many things about this: the hazy, lost summer feel to their trip, the gradual insight into Rose and Scorpius' secret past, the entire character of Iggy is just hilarious - what must Neville think of him??! And that bubbling sexual tension and pull between R&S is brought in so naturally and effortlessly, the whole flow of the piece really really works!

Also, Rose asking parents' permission to accompany their sons: the very thought just makes me grin - I see her as being so awkward when it came to asking Astoria. Eee, fab!!

Such a fun and enjoyable read, definitely one of my faves! Well done M.A. :D
