I really like this. I enjoyed that you really put the kids in different roles from their fathers. That was a nice twist. There were also hints of Lily/Snape in there too, what with her insulting him and all and him over hearing it and his feelings being hurt.

This was such an easy read and I appreciated the fast but not rushed pace!

I loved that there was a date for the day Rose grew up--when she took responsibility for her own actions and made her own choices rather than doing what her family or society expected. Great job!

Oh, I am so glad you enjoyed this. Your comment had me smiling all day when I read it :) To be honest, you can thank your contact (who was awesome and helpful and did I mention awesome) for much of the direction of the piece. Once she (it's LJ - I'll just assume) pointed me in the right direction, it really started to write itself.

And yeah, omniscient and opinionated narrator for the win.

This was just lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and was so pleased to see that Rose had a great deal of substance under that lovely exterior.

Very sweet... I like that Rose broke from the behavior of her cousins and did waht was necessary to prove to Scorpius that she really did like him
