Finished my rework of Chapter 1 of my novel. There was quite a bit of information that needed to be conveyed, but it needed to be done in a very different way than I originally had it. My new way lets the core antagonist be introduced a bit earlier, let you get to know him better (And therefore find your dislike of him easier

Considering my time in front of a computer and hiding from the sun, I am pale enough to blind anyone when the sun reflects off my skin... I'd hate to think how much paler I would be without my native blood.

Although, I suppose those that aren't blinded by the reflected light will merely WISH they were blind... :P
