Me likey Smoshy Fluffness! And Nicole is awesome. Period.
I like the heart-warming mood in this chapter, it was very sweet towards the end. Your descriptions are definitely getting better, but one thing you could work on is to convey their emotions through their actions a little more. What I mean is, instead of telling us how they feel all the time, you could show us by describing how they look in that particular moment. It's nice to switch it up between those to ;)
But geez, your writing is really good, and I'll be waiting for the next part! :D<3
