Our third day in Seoul also marked our last. We slept in late, grabbed breakfast and set out. Cory wanted to check out the Korean War Museum just down the street from where we were staying, so we struck out to go see it

I have read every word of your Korea entries and it sounds like you had such a great time! I didn't go to the DMZ--le sad--but now i know it vicariously.
I'm glad that you have validated my existence by praising Korean food. I'm try to convert these Texas peeps, but they don't budge to try some squid.
I should have gotten some info from you on some good spots in Seoul (I seem to remember that that is where you were for your study abroad semester) -- of course, neither of us knew the city very well so we didn't get out and explore as much as we probably would have liked to.
The DMZ is weird -- I don't know why so many people live in Seoul knowing about the threat that lurks not that far away just on the other side of the border.
Mmmm, Korean food. Soooo tasty. Just need to, ahem, tone down the spiciness a bit. I'm such a wuss! Luckily I have heard about a good Korean place here in Anchorage -- I'm gonna have to go get my bibembap and bulgogi on. Beef on a Leaf, how I miss you so!
