Oooh, black syphilis? I don't know, you know how I feel about those spirochetes!
And what is black syphilis anyway? Is it a more sinister version of the most creative venereal disease? Is it in mourning? A Goth? A tormented Artiste? Inquiring minds want to know!
And I second your motion of seeing long distance boyfriends :) What is the distance status on Nick these days?
All I know is that if you catch it, the U.S. will never let you come back...or so I've heard. And then we'd all have to go to Korea to visit you. And that's far. It may just be an Army myth, but then again, I get the feeling that black syphilis is the kind of disease that would want to make you think that it was only a myth so your guard would be down and it would be free to attack. Aaaaah!
As for Nick, he's still in Houston doing ROTC recruiting at U of H until he gets out in Decemberish. And then he /might/ be moving to Tallahassee. Living in the same city?! Gasp. It sounds too good to be true. But hey, Texas is closer (and safer) than Iraq: 1 time zone versus 8.
