Something xylodemon mentioned in her post, got me thinking about love. I was having a talk with my best friend, B, about marriage and what not. Actually a lot of talks, because she's in the throes of getting married to someone. We're not sure who just yet (welcome to the land of Indian arranged marriages) but we'll get it all straightned out soon enough.

So I have a few things to comment on.. lol. Oh but first.. *hug* Hi Smoo! Hee. Otay.. now.. wow.. I don't think I'd be able to marry someone I didn't know. Arranged marriage... geez.. I would SO not be able to do that.. but then again.. when you're raised in a culture where that's the thing to do then I guess it's different. Had I been raised that way then I'm sure I wouldn't object to it... but as it is I wasn't so yeah.. that wouldn't work for me

Thanks actualy for the long comment, it's so nice to hear other people's points of view on this, mainly because 1) I have only a couple of views to go on in RL, and they are all pretty much different from mine. Actually my girl friends here are mainly of the same opinion you are, but it's interesting to hear it from someone who's not Indian.
2) I want to settle down before I'm 30 too, but I like to hear that there are options, I'm all for stay at home moms and taking care of the kids too, hell, there are times when I want to do it, it's wierd for women, because there are times when you're looked down on for wanting everything, but then on the other hand you're encouraged to too. I guess we all have to find a balance, depending on what we want.

Glad to see you posting that day, and then I went to look at that website- those boys? They were so of the pretty!
