This is fantastic! I saw a huge dragonfly outside yesterday, but it didn't offer to land on my hand--and I'm not wearing Grass Slipper anyway. What a lucky moment to capture.

Well apparently (I just found this out) one of our drivers saw this little fella stuck to the grille on one of our trucks this morning. He took the dragonfly to the grass next to our office and put him down to (hopefully) recover. Later when I took Sugar out for a potty break, I saw the dragonfly on the ground, thought it was dead and tapped it lightly with my foot. He moved his feet a little, so I bent down and picked him up. After a while of crawling around on my hand he started to flutter. Fell on the ground once. I picked him up again, and that time he managed to fly off.

Hooray for photos with happy endings! =)

I pushed some color and contrast in post processing, but mostly the work is all from the Toy Camera app (high saturation with vignetting turned on). It's times like this (when I don't have one of my many cameras on me) that I really love the iPhone for its capabilities. =)
