Well, I suppose, Hijikata, that all of this shooting that everyone's been doing is a mega waste of bullets, Hijikata. After all, Hijikata, that balloon has gotta come down eventually, Hijikata, so as long as our planes can keep following it, what's the big deal?

...Nevertheless, I think you're right about Kiku surviving whatever we throw at 'em. Kiku's a strong kid... Hijikata.

The sooner they come down, the better. We don't honestly know what that thing is capable of, so we can't afford to leave it in their hands any longer than necessary. That said, shooting when we can't seem to actually hit them is utterly pointless.

I am rather far away from the ship, Hijikata, but is any gunners who happen to be proficient in using rifles

There is a bell tower in the town high enough to get a good shot at the balloon but we need someone to head there quickly if we plan on sniping these thieves out from the sky.
