But, just so I'm sure on how to handle this situation, does this mean you wouldn't like for that specific kind of gift to arrive at your door ever again? I've been thinking some of the same myself... It doesn't seem like a tactic that either country would use. If Vohemar leaders wanted to hurt Ivona they would go in guns blazing. All the mayors are stupid enough for that. Ivona would take some strategic military approach. This isn't either. It's too underhanded.

But doesn't it seem somewhat counter intuitive to attack both countries at once if this group is trying to get them to fight each other? The leaders can't be stupid enough to think that the fact that there were attacks on ships from both sides is some kind of ploy...

...Yet as I say that, I realize that our leaders are actually idiots.

As you've so astutely pointed out, intelligent people thinking rationally would see that when both parties are taking such heavy damages from this tactic, and therefore neither is likely to be responsible.

The day the world is run by intelligent people who can think rationally, I'll toss my pipe overboard and never touch tobacco again.
