After catching up on One Piece, I have a question: Do you know any good fanfiction that deal with Smoker's reactions to Ace's death you could recommend me? >: Really curious about that. Searching google didn't turn anything up, since yeah... specifics are a bit difficult, I guess. xD

Oh my god; you HAVE to read Fire Tears' "Words". So distressing, that one; that I couldn't even read it all in one go. T.T Worst part was that it's all in Ace's POV too.

Come to think of it, read all the writer's SmoAce fanfiction! I haven't read a single one from him/her that's not well-fleshed out with moving, aching maturity and elegant poise. Especially "Old Souls" and "A Many Shattered Thing"; my favourites. Honestly? There aren't many fanfics I've read in my 3 years as a fanfic writer/consumer that reaches this level; even if you put together ALL my favourite fandoms, let alone just this one. Not that it's anyone's fault.There are plenty of decent authors, good authors; hardworking, skilled people. Then there are connoisseurs like these; with their rare spark to leave you dazed, breathless and inspired to elevate your art.

Trust me. This'll be one ride that you may never forget.
