Damon/Rose was amazing. The balance of power! The fact that Rose could rip Damon's heart out if she wanted! The fact that he KNOWS IT! God, I loved this ship.

Your Bonnie thoughts are very interesting. She is not one of my favorite characters, because it's hard for me to understand her, but I love to read how other people talk about her :).

I never thought of it that way, but you're right, he does seem to do better with women he knows could totally own him at any moment.

I pride myself in being one of the few who loves Bonnie for her moral failings just as much as her moral standings.

Damon/Rose was definitely the most functional Damon pairing. And I enjoyed reading your thoughts on Bonnie - I always thought that she and Damon have some striking similarities.

Haha, I have not gotten past early S10 of Smallville. I've just… lost interest. But I will finish the series ONE DAY, because I am a completist.

Agreed re: the lack of respect in shipping fandom. It's always infuriating to be told that you ship things "wrong". I don't hang out in SV fandom at all, but from the little I've seen, Clark/Lana shippers get a lot of crap, which is depressing.

Haha, I did not realise you ship Damon and Bela too. Now that'd be an interesting pair…

WORD on Bonnie and Damon being alike. And Bonnie being unwilling to let others see her fragility. I wish the show wouldn't consistently overlook her POV, because that's the #1 reason so much of fandom dislikes her. They just don't understand her.

I've seen Homecoming, Abandoned, Luthor and Fortune from S10. I saw the middle two on purpose, because I wanted to see what was up with Tess, and also because I've always loved their AU episodes. The other two were just kind of on and I didn't change the channel. Let me tell you, them playing Lifehouse's Everything during the Clark/Lois dance? I was kind of pissed, and on so many levels.
