My good friend vitrescent posted about this, so I thought I would too, mainly because it's something that really hits home for me.

The New York Times recently published an article on print about ( Trigger: rape. )

I'm just glad that I can take the horrible thing that happened to me and lend my voice to this child. She can't speak for herself and neither did the New York Times.

ugghh that article makes me so mad, but honestly I've come to expect that sort of thing in our society and that's so sad. That's why I'm part of the women's concerns group here at school, take part in Take Back the Night etc. It's all about awareness and education and choice!!!
