I know I'm late to this but Freedom fries????? Give me a break! I'm glad it was short lived but i say if "freedom fries" are so free then even if people changed the name we should be free to call them whatever we want including the old name. =p Or we can just switch to what they call them to what some other regions (like the UK) call them "chips

That term is a lot older than 2003. I heard they were using it waay back in the day for a similar reason... I forget of course though =p
