The Power of Family

May 19, 2010 16:30

Wow, my titles are getting cheesier and cheesier. Anyway, this is an SVR post (I don't know why I keep adding disclaimers, I already said that these are the only kind I post, at least until I start working on EPL again). The reason I'm posting these like mad (besides the fact that they relax me) is because I want to get all caught up journal wise to where I am game wise (which is hard since I play almost every day, getting me farther from my goal.) Anyway, this post combines two of the "less exciting" (read: boring) houses: The Smith house in Strangetown, and the Capp-Gieke household in fair Veronaville.

Even though Jenny is an elder now, the Smith's relationship is still strong. They're constantly stalking one another, it's sickeningly cute.

As usual, click the cut for more.

I swear I'm going to learn to tell them apart without the use of my notes, but living in the house at this point besides Jenny and Pt are Jill, Joseph (the serious red head) and Jeffrey (the blond, who I feel prefers to be called Jeff).

This is how I actually tell them apart- Joseph is serious (and outgoing, surprisingly) so he spends all his time playing chess, while Jeff is playful (and a little less outgoing) so he spends all his time painting. He's an ~artiste.

As I always mention, the Curious family is insanely close,. and I use every opportunity to invite them over. Jenny has a long life ahead of her, but PT's time is getting close.

See? it's like a little family reunion, where half the family is green and the other half is decidedly not.

From left to right: Vidcund and his daughter Hexameter, Pluto (Pascal's kid), Jeff, Joseph, Johnny, PT and Lola.

Video games are serious business in the Smith house. I love how the two serious children (Pluto and Joseph) don't play the games.

Jill spent the entire season building up her skills for college, and I like to think that she's asking Johnny for advice here. At the end of the season she was shipped off to join Buck, Ariel and Desdemona Capp, the Monty twins (Beatrice and Benedick) and the Summerdream kids (Briar and Timothy.) I swear I'm going to do a who's who when these kids are teens so that I can keep up.

werewolf!Uncle Lazlo likes to stop by and read the newspaper. I have no idea why he wasn't at the house.

This picture totally makes it look like he's going WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?

So yeah, nothing exciting happened. Jenny is STILL a nurse at this point, I feel bad. The kids are still kids, and Jill went off to college. I'm thinking that PT is going to die right around the time the boys become teens. ;__;

Capp-Gieke

Capp- Kent, Cyd Roseland-Capp, Lear
Gieke- Bianca, Chester, Emilia

The Capp-Gieke lot is one of the more confusing houses. Bianca Monty and Kent Capp are best friends who live together on one lot (but not in the same house) with their respective families. That's Kent, trying to teach his incredibly stubborn daughter to talk.

Lear looks so happy, doesn't she? :D I seriously love this child. She doesn't have a nice bone in her body, and she is SO CUTE.

Her future BFF Emilia Gieke is not as cute, but I like her all the same.

Even though she was heavily pregnant, Bianca still enjoyed gardening. Ok, no, I made hr garden because it was getting disgusting. her second pregnancy was really hard omn her, she was always locked in the hunger-energy-bladder triangle of doom and I was vcery close to just cheating and popping the kid out. But I didn't...

Because she gave birth to another daughter (with Emilia's coloring) who I named Borgia. I don't know why I named her Borgia, since I picked the name out in December and she gave birth in March, so I'm just going to assume it's from a Shakespearean play (even though I just searched and found nothing).

I say this house is boring, but any house where there are two toddlers, a dog, and a baby plus 4 adults is going to be hectic. Cyd spends all his time skillbuilding, but I make time for his relationship with Kent.

I do love these two together so much. <3

And Kent is a really good father to Lear. Even if she is a pain.

For some reason the people in this house like to spend time in the garden- here you can see Bianca, Lear, Cyd, Kent and Porthos the dog all hanging out there. (Well, Bianca is gardening, but I have no idea why I made Kent teach Lear to walk here.)

Eventually it was time for Emilia, Borgia, and Lear's birthdays, and as usual, a party was thrown.

Emilia grew into a precious little girl. I don't know much about her yet, but at the very least she's growing into her nose. She looks a lot like Chester, but those are definitely Bianca's eyes and jaw.

Lear grew into a fierce little girl who runs everywhere. That's one of my favorite hairs. SHE'S BEEN CHOSEN.

And Borgia grew into a terrifying toddler. She gets better though, I went into Bodyshop and am proud to say she grows into a very nice looking adult.

And that's it for all the old posts! :D From now on when I post SVR posts they will be far, far more recent- for example, the next post will be about the Capp house and the Loste house, both houses that I played last week! I'm excited to share all the dramatic happenings that have been bugging me. As usual, have a good day!
