Does anyone still use this thing? I have been informed that fandom has Moved to Tumblr so I moved too but since I don't really make gif sets, I'm not entirely sure what to do there.
This situation is not helped by work being stupid, my commute being lengthy, and my niece and nephew being super adorable and interesting.
So what up, LJ?

I feel like I spend so much time on my work computer, I don't even want to look at my computer when I get home. If I can't do it on my phone, it doesn't happen.

At least you have time to read/listen to books on Audible on your commute? Theoretically?

I use tumblr as well, but not a huge fan of the interface. It makes conversations very hard, though it does make finding new people a bit easier.

There are aspects of tumblr I like a great deal (gif sets of Chris Evans with no shirt...) but I agree that it's difficult to hold a conversation. Everything feels very surface.

My most successful attempt at Tumblr was posting sloths into James McAvoy pics (that one still gets new followers, over 7500 now, though I stopped posting there years ago, compared to my normal Tumblr which has 27...), but that kind of thing is just not how I engage with fandom normally.

I immediately went and googled "James McAvoy with sloths" because that EXACTLY the point of Tumblr. I mean, for me.
