1. The Bar is over. Thank goodness. I have no idea how I did on it and I won't know if I passed until November 5th. Shortly after I find out if my office will be in existence next year. It'll be a banner week

I love that icon! And the picture it came from. Tim DeKay is so adorable. You should totally watch Carnivale - he goes around in suspenders and has his sleeves rolled up to mid-bicep and occasionally he pounds metal pins into the ground with a hammer while wearing a wife-beater shirt and his arms are looooooovely.

Congrats on being done with the bar. I still have nightmares about my bar taking experience. Also, I've yet to watch an episode of White Collar. Hmm. May have to rectify that.

White Collar sold me over with its vaguely sketchy use of "exigent circumstances" in the first episode (I am easy like Sunday morning - just acknowledge the existence of criminal procedure and I am willing to go along for the ride) and it's got a lot of witty dialogue and it has heists. I think you should totally take a run at it. The eps from this season are available on IMDb but you should really start with the first season to get the storyline. The clip linked there for the pilot is one of my favorite scenes - it gives you a little taste, at least.

Yay for finishing the bar! Boo for such a long wait for the results. Also boo for Verizon. WTF? You're owed a refund for part of your bill at the very least.

Verizon is giving me a month free because I won't skip any more work to sit around and wait for them to show up - so I'm sitting around on Saturday. (I figure I will sleep through half the wait time anyway.)
