1) I have been totally remiss in discussing the success of Saturday's Wave, but 16 people ended up participating at one time or another. Of course then it got ridiculously laggy. But all in all, it was a success. I was kind of too wiped out (haha, another Wave pun) and ended up not starting another one on Sunday ( Read more... )

2) A wave for tonight's CM sounds like lots of fun!

3) Sorry, hon. *hugs* My fannish glee for today is that Kris Allen's single has gone gold! It's a big deal for us who fan that guy everyone keeps saying is going to flop like a tuna on a beach. \o/

4) Hmmm, I'd really have to do a rewatch, myself. The whole of Demonology is just like the best gift ever, and I'm quite fond of the moment in the hotel lobby of...crap, hooker episode, which isn't exactly a moment but leads me to all kinds of undercover fantasies. Mostly I love all the times that they work so nicely together.

Picture for you:

2) Awesome! I think I am watching real-time with Woj, so we can glee together. :D

3) I'll live, and I have first dibs on the new intern. And hey, it could be worse - I could be working on that abortion memo. :P Yay Kris! I have to confess, I watched like, 8 clips of AI alumni interviewing each other on YouTube last night, just to see who everyone was.

4) Oh! I was looking for that scene the other night! I hadn't noticed until you pointed it out a while back, but seriously, how can Rossi be keeping an eye out for the unsub or her father when he's SO FOCUSED on Emily? *hearts*

Yay picture! I love this one - she has such stars in her eyes. The cap is great - I was skimming through this one last night too and she says something to him with that expression, and it's so fleeting. Earlier in that one is the scene where they're standing next to each other at the funeral and cross themselves.

(I only have one icon of them. I seriously need to overhaul my icon collection.)

Real moments or moments I made up in my head?

Like in 5x02 when Rossi tells Morgan Emily is picking Hotch up because she said she wanted to when we talked about it in bed last night.

Minimal Loss, when Hotch says he can't go in and Rossi says he's going in because my woman is in there and when he finds her in the tunnel and says they have to get her out of there, his voice is so concerned and urgent and in love. On the plane, just before she approaches Reid, she is looking at someone off camera, making significant eye contact, clearly, it's Rossi.

Real moments:

The Barry Manilow moment in Angel Maker. In the bar in Damaged. Amplification and Demonology

The ones you make up in your head are totally real moments. I mean, it's a canon moment that made your tin hat ding, right?

I totally agree with the 5x02 one. They clearly got SO CLOSE while Hotch was out. Rossi taking over and Emily being his right hand. (There's a terribly dirty joke to make there, I'm sure there is.)

OMG, I was talking to Woj about that scene in Minimal Loss! I had forgotten about it when I was rewatching it. Also earlier, when he says that he can't be the negotiator because he's emotionally involved. Also also when he's just inside the doors, talking to Cyrus and Emily's watching him the whole time. I am totally going to have to watch the end again for the bit when she approaches Reid. Definitely.

I love the Barry Manilow bit - especially when he asks her if she'd withstand all that prison procedure for a guy and she grins at him and says, "Maybe for Barry Manilow." She's so flirting. And he so gets groupies. We've seen them.

Thank you for gleeing at

OH! OH! Cradle to Grave they exchange this "way more than colleagues" look towards the end.

I never did the flirting math on that one!

OMG, yes! The look of, "Look! I'm holding a baby!" and "I love seeing you hold that baby."

Oh, I think that scene is Angel Maker is so flirty. She's totally all, "I'd endure a strip search for you."

Oh! Roadkill, where he protests that a good car needs love and JJ asks him if a woman doesn't need love too, and he's all, "Not qualified to answer that!" And Emily laughs at him. Which isn't actually shippy but I like to pretend JJ is poking fun at their secret and Emily's laughing because as far as she's concerned, he is totally qualified.

Okay - I tried to narrow this down to a favorite moment but I couldn't. So...

1. The bar scene in Damaged. When he asks why they care and everybody looks at Emily and she says "Because you do." Not sure why but I kinda see that as the beginning or their emotional involvement.

2. The morning after in Vegas. Nothing too shippy but the way he's making fun of her just smacks of closeness.

3. There are dozens of other moments where you catch them looking at one another like they are going to just rip off clothes. I wouldn't even know where to begin with those.

You should not feel the need to narrow this down at all. The more things you list, the more glee I get. And trust me, I desire some serious glee.

1. OMG, that scene! She is such a revelation to him. Also, everyone else knows she's in charge of that little excursion. No one loves Rossi like she does. That she had to talk them all into going with her analysis of Rossi's behavior is awesome, too.

2. The Vegas scene is adorable! I love how amused by her he seems. And he's comfortable giving her a hard time. shetiger posited back around Reckoner, that Emily is totally his favorite even without shipper goggles, and I totally agree.

3. OMG, I know. Even fandom buddies who despair over my old dude love are like, "yeah, yeah, I totally see it." :D

Ooh, here's one I just remembered - the end of True Night, all the way back at 3x10, when she's brooding and he's trying to coax her out of her head.
