So, last night, wojelah, shetiger, and I attempted to use GoogleWave to groupchat. Mostly we made a mess but here are a few things we learned:

1) You type in real-time, like the old ICQ. So it's occasionally necessary to think before you start instead of just thinking before you hit done. :P

Awesome! You definitely show up on my Wave list, probably because we've exchanged emails before. I am aiming for a 5pm EST start time tomorrow in hopes of getting ya'll European types in before you have to go to bed. I think that should be about 11pm your time? You've got an hour or two after that, right?

Timezones were difficult for me to answer, because I'm in Australia and saturday morning is a completely different time for me than in the US! I'm on holiday atm though so pretty much as long as I'm awake. The evening/late afternoon should work for me I think.

I think you're about 16 hours ahead, so scheduling the Saturday one for us in the US (meaning me, mostly, because I have to be awake to set it up) put you in at 9am, which sucks. I am thinking we will probably be on for a few hours, though? I thought maybe a Sunday afternoon one would work, but I think that puts it at an even worse time for you. Grr. I would say aim for our Saturday one (which will be your Sunday morning, although I'm pretty sure you could sign on at noon and still find some folks?)

I am sorry I haven't been able to make the timing work better. I will see what I can do better for next week. :(
