Yay! I have been meaning to get on board with Discworld for some time, but I just hadn't gotten around to it. I am about 45 pages in and haven't met Nanny Ogg yet, but Esk is kind of great. :D

I did! Today was much more successful, even if it required calling up Verizon THREE TIMES and threatening to cancel the service. :D

I mailed Christmas gifts today! I still haven't done cards and may not! And I'm holding yours until I see you in person. Heh.

Anything having to do with a car is a massive headache. Persevere! You will triumph eventually!

Oh yes, I am ridiculously lax in the distribution of holiday goodies. (And cards? What cards?)

I have CONQUERED the car (as you have seen!) problems and even the internet. I've been fighting this for THREE MONTHS and I feel the need to celebrate. How do you feel about Tyson's sometime this weekend?

And Discworld is AWESOME! So I hope you like it. I recommend trying at least one book with each cast (my mother doesn't like the 1st two as much as the rest either). My favorite cast of characters are the Watch - the first book with them is Guards! Guards!. Death and his family are awesome too: Mort. I think you'll really enjoy Granny Weatherwax :)

My sister pulled out Equal Rites for the witches and Mort for Death, and somehow does not own Guards! Guards! even though she thinks the Watch will be my favorite. Fortunately I am supplied with Christmas B&N gift cards, so I can take emergency measures. ;)
