Can one actually slack at fandom...?

...Considering that fandom itself is my way of slacking off on RL?

Work is going to be unbearable today so I have bullied omglawdork and raisintorte into devising a meme for me ( Read more... )

recs, bored, meme

Thanks! The only one I have already experienced is Sarah Connor Chronicles (*LOVE*) and I cannot wait for it to come back! Yay! I hope it'll come out on DVD soon, too, so I can review before the next season. I watched it before I saw T2, and I think that was a flaw. :P

I probably didn't post about it, actually, because it was in the middle of school-related things, and I kept watching it at weird times. (Oh, the glory of the DVR!) I think I announced it was stone-cold awesome once but that was it.

I have heard good things about Life!

I actually just re-read Watchmen! I was inspired by the trailer, and then I made wojelah read it so she'd go see the movie with me. :D

People keep talking about Middleman and I never see any commercials for it. It's ABC Family, right?

Middleman: seconded. It's a weird, cute little show. Husband thinks it's hilarious. Yes, it's ABC Family.

HENRY!!!

Okay, I will use the magic of Tivo to search out this program. (Tivo is also probably the reason I never see commercials...the fast forward button is too tempting.)

I have not read either 1 or 4! Thank you!

OMG, TSCC are coming out on DVD here on August 19th and are just $19 for pre-order. They will be mine!

Oooh, yay! Let me know how you like either. (The book's the first part of a trilogy, all of which I wholeheartedly recommend. I'm forcing them on my work colleagues too, they're that cool.)

And YESYESYES! And I can't wait for SCC to start up again, although I will admit the previews so far have made me just a leeetle bit wary - heavy John focus, I really hope that doesn't detract from Sarah!
