When Tim's brother -- who loves but has no idea how to -- lifts bo up and puts him up there with Tim? Yeah. That just. Yeah. Says everything about this show and about these characters and there better fucking be more than six eps next year.
This show makes me cry like The West Wing did in the beginning and then again at the very end, on a smaller, more human scale.
And OMG, yes, when I realized that was Tim's brother (and I seriously hadn't before, because I was typing and crying and generally being a big pile of love and emo!joy), I just started all over again because Bo represents the broken child Tim's brother wishes he had been early enough to fix, and that Tim wants to protect with all his heart. The scene from a few episodes back when he explains to Bo's mother that he's teaching Bo to fight so that he's not bullied (and not saying that he's giving the kid the choice of pacifism in being able to reject violence when he can) that was Tim making the world a better place than it was for him.
Damn straight there better be more than 6 episodes.
*shares my box of Kleenex if you're so inclined* ;)
Also, I don't know how amenable your internet connection might be, but I think nbc.com has all the episodes. Or um, my email addy is in my userinfo. If you have the yen. You know.
It does! I guess I know what I'll be doing at work tomorrow. :) I know I'll like it. I love sports movies, especially football movies, but FNL just wasn't on at a good time. Now I'm excited to watch it.
I was going to say that you'd have problems finding enough footage of Sumner but I bet if you used some of the vaguer BDU shots from the Unit, it would work out really well. :D

Narf *g*.
It was actually mostly about Elizabeth, from what I remember; footage from Rising and Before I Sleep. The song was Leave Me Here, by Hem, which is a gorgeous song (and I was listening to it just before I fell asleep, which is probably part of the reason *g*).
Oh, you are so right about the finale! That was just amazing TV. Incredible.
My favorite part was Jason's speech to the team in the end, about the next season. He's such a natural leader it's incredible. Even sitting there in the chair, he has this aura about him.
I loved Voodoo telling Smash he was possibly the best running back in the country. And while I thought that Voodoo was a senior, I guess he's just a junior, like Smash. I hope they bring him back -- he's a great foil to Smash and a great rival for the team.
