shetiger totally managed to stump me on my own story so I wrote her a drabble. Except it didn't fit in the LJ comment box. So it's here. I slapped a title on it and everything.

Title: One Thousand Lives
Rating: PG-13 (because One to Let Go is in the same continuity)
Pairing: Sumner/Weir (and my heart goes pitty-pat)

Oh, damn. Happy and sad all at once.

"Sheppard," Sumner said behind her, "looks like a spooked cat every time I talk to him."

"Well," Elizabeth said without turning her head, "he was the one who - " Her voice stuck in her throat and she couldn't get anything more out.

Love all of that. Mmm. (I might have a bit of an obsession with John killing Sumner. *pets John*)

And Sumner would totally hate the alternate dimension horseshit. Which is just another plus in my book. :)

*vows to be tricksy more often*

You know, it was John killing Sumner that got me into SGA. I mean, not directly, but about that time, everyone was doing the fandom Post Secrets and someone did this one that was a picture of the Queen's hand on Sumner's chest and the caption was something like, "They gave me his job and his laptop. I threw the laptop into the ocean. I can't throw away the job." Or something like that. But yeah. I'm so with you.

*grin* Thank you!

It felt light and free to laugh with him again, like something hard and thick was breaking apart in her chest.

Smitty. You broke me.

I love this. All of it.

This is glee inducing.

Now I need to try and go stump you so maybe you'll write more in this verse. Cause I love it!

Mack! and Horseshit! :-)
