Wednesday Night Television

Mar 21, 2007 23:00

Tonight I sacrificed Friday Night Lights and the first five minutes of Criminal Minds for, wait for it, a free salsa lesson at school. Yes, I know. (Don't get excited, boutell, I only know how to do four steps.) But it was fun and then I accidentally got a completely free meal from California Tortilla so my evening has pretty much rocked. (Also, I'll ( Read more... )

Also, Jacob Carter, that's an ugly beard. Please shave it off.

Oh, thank god. I recognized him immediately, but I could not place him at all! Obviously it was the beard throwing me.

And Hotch... This episode was emotional porn for me. Just so much love.

I don't think you missed anything with the Reid-drug thing. I think it was supposed to be kind of huh? for everybody.

I saw his name on the credits or else I might have missed him, too. :) Also, he had hair! Jacob Carter was mostly bald on top, but this guy had a widow's peak thing going on.

HOTCH. Yeah. Also, I could take another dozen scenes of Gideon and Morgan holding him back. Yeah.

Okay - I only missed the pre-credits teaser which usually doesn't even have the main cast, but I felt lacking.

Heh, I thought the same thing about flaming pedestrian. But then again, were someone to hurl a Molotov Cocktail at me, I'm seeing much panicked flailing and a painful death. :(

There seemed to be a bit of eye contact between Reid and Gideon after Reid made that statement, so I'm thinking that, yeah, Gideon's helping him on the QT to keep it out of his official record.

I live in hopes that one day Morgan is just going to throw Garcia down onto one of her computers and have his wicked way with her. I'd love to see the chubby chick get the totally hot dude, y'know? Plus? She's so damned adorable in her total crush on him. *g*

I guess we don't know what he hurled, either. They probably said what he used in the arsons at one point, but I've forgotten already. Still, I was hoping he'd eventually drop to his knees and fall over or something, but by that time he was probably in too much pain to even think about it. Er. Never mind.

Yeah, I noticed that exchanged look - I think you hit it right on the nose. Gideon knows what it's like, I think - wasn't he dealing with PTSD early on in the first season? (I came in late and I have seen most of the episodes but there are still a few I missed. I should rent the DVDs of the eps I missed.)

I was all for the Bond/Moneypenny teasing vibe they had with Morgan and Garcia, but when they had the Superbowl episode, I was like, "Dammit, Morgan, turn around and catch a clue."

...and okay, weirdly, they evoke my Oracle/Nightwing love from seven years ago. I mean sure, Barbara Gordon's gorgeous and all, but when I fell in love with the pairing, she was being drawn as a fairly normal-looking person. Oh, dear. I may ( ... )

"Dude, stop drop and roll" was my reaction to the scene too, and what I would hopefully remember to do if I caught on fire from the BBQ, but I think the guy was still stuck in the WTF where did that come from stage ( ... )

Andy is ready for you and your salsa-ing self. He does this little dance where he says "with a hop hop hop, and a cha cha cha" and then he shakes his little non-existent hips.

I'm sitting around waiting for an ebay aution to end -- for a bag sealer for the truffle biz.

Eeee! He's so cute. :D I'll come out and dance with Andy and read comics with Jack and eat your truffles and we'll all have a marvelous time. :D

Wow, a bag sealer.

...

Yeah, I got nothing. ;)

if you right click the misspelled word in Firefox, the context menu allows you to add it to the custom dictionary.

Oh, awesome! It's like how my Word dictionary now includes such gems as "Goa'uld" and "replevin." Thank you!

Oh thank goodness. I was worried I was the only one going "Dude! Stop, drop and roll!"

Seriously! An entire generation of people got that drilled into their tiny little heads along with, "7x8 is 56" and "a lot" is two words.
