I'm a lazy bum and my webpage is still designed for 800x600 pixel resolution and it's also very blue and sort of cluttered and out of date, so I have this vague, half-formed plan to revamp it a little over Spring Break. Thus I am abusing the poll function to determine ease of use for the fanfic page (which is really the only part anyone cares

Are you going to use any kind of template system, or will you just hard-code the html?

lisew gave me a crash course in CSS a couple years back so I could arrange the Offpanel menu page in a ring (notice the 800x600 design and that it's another fix in progress - but not by me) but I think I'm just going with my hard coding method. I have a template for the fic page so I can just plug in the stories and I'm converting from the blue and serif old style to the more recent white and sans serif new style last seen in TBTILAF. Thumbs up? Thumbs down?

Haha, I lied. I got this far and then was all, "Oh, hey, I really should do all this in CSS because I like the link style better." Can you specify formatting for tables in CSS too?

Actually, I wasn't aware you have a webpage. I had to go to your info page to get the link. I've gotten so used to the LJ, I only wonder to the ficpages via direct links from authors or reccers.

Unless there's a pointer, almost the only time I ever use a webpage is if I'm getting into a new fandom and want to glut on stories by authors I've read in other fandoms. (E.g. When I was getting into SGA, I'd read astolat's House fic and liked it, so I went to her page to see what was up with these John and Rodney people everyone was on about.) I like LJ as an archiving tool, which is why I've been so lazy about putting up web versions, but I do tend to forget about stuff and I get the occasional prompt to link it elsewhere, so I thought maybe I should get organized. :)
