(I was obsessively into Houston Knights for a couple of months last year, and was somewhat distressed to find out how much badfic there was.)

You would think that would be Extremely Obvious, but noooo. Even during the first season, for crying out loud, when they could barely talk to each other without getting into a fistfight. One of those really blatant examples of the fandom just making up their own characters instead of paying any attention to the show. (Which is a shame, because while it was a dumb show, I quite liked the guys' relationship, and wanted to see actual fic about how they could be friends--or have hot sex--and still start namecalling every five minutes. *sigh*)

Okay, fine, what random old show would YOU go make a fandom for if it suddenly showed up on DVD?

I could picture myself devoting my life to promoting The Young Riders fandom (even though S1 has been out on DVD and I haven't bought it yet because I'm afraid it won't be as good as I remember.) It's just, y'know, I have a thing for gay cowboys. And it imprinted on me when I was nine.

Although, really, my one and only OTP ever is Ray/Egon from Ghostbusters.

I've been pondering a Hawaii Five-O title challenge--I mean 12 seasons, so many awesome titles--must be something in the air.
