Oh Brilliant!! This is brilliant - the Places You'll FeedUnfortunately, D was way too curious about the world for me to ever truly nurse in public the first year. She had to see the world and feed which ended up in the world seeing my boob while she saw anything that moved! sigh... But once in a while she obliged. My favorite spots are many. I loved nursing on airplanes to calm my babies and out in nature. Thankfully my job has a great lactation room. I know many women don't have a good space to pump either.

I was actually never breast-fed. I was allergic to something in my mom's breast milk.

yes, it happens more than we think.... my close friend realized her son was allergic to milk/dairy and so gave up dairy and did the trick and she breastfed till child was almost 4 (well, by 3rd year it was just once a day thing). But have another friend who just couldn't figure it out and gave up. It's all good. feed the baby the best you can ( ... )

For me it wasn't a milk allergy thing, my mother is a very sickly woman, and my entire life she's been on different medications for her various issues, and one of the medications she was on, at the time, I was allergic to. She had a severe staph infection that she passed onto me when I was born and we were both hospitalized for a while after my birth,
