I am just feeling oh so happy! My back aches after 15 minutes of sitting down and I have been making up my own version of downward dog and child's pose on the couch with a bunch of pillows to relieve and taking "walks" around the apartment and at times nearly crying... but a little kick from the baby sends me out into these burst of joy and smiles

My dad will probably stop talking to me if I don't cloth diaper! :D hehehe...
I think I am finding it hard to get my mind around handling poop in the diaper - so imagine there must be some prewashing when that happens!! I can't think of just dumping all that in the washer.... eeeks
I probably be residing next to the washer/dryer but hey... I will be staying at home. It's different if I were working, etc. And I imagine if you buy enough to last at least three-four days that's good, right?
I dumped the poop in the toilet and sort of rinsed them in there, but that means dipping them up and down in the toilet and that could be a bit much for some people. You can also run a rinse cycle on your machine first and then a wash cycle to get the poop out. And there are also liners that you can get for cloth diapers, it's a biodegradable liner that absorbs solid waste and you flush it down the toilet
I started making my own laundry detergent years ago with bronners soap, borax and washing soda, I use it for everything including when I was using diapers.
