one of the nice things about living near the state capitol? None of the channels have changed over yet. Which is good, because though I have a converter box, either it was busted outta the box or it fried itself when I plugged it into what I have now decided is a faulty outlet (last time I used it I blew a fuse, this time it just sparked).

So it goes.

The individual in question actually lives at the state capitol. Not many stations have switched, but some have. I don't use my television for non-videogame purposes, so I kind of forget that tv is actually important to some people.

How expensive are those converter boxes? And I'm not making fun of people who can't afford luxuries right now.

Honestly, I have no idea. I know that in most cases you are or were able to get vouchers to purchase them. My television isn't connected to any sort of antenna, cable, or the like, so I have some difficulty seeing an inability to get your shows as a major disaster.

I don't know either, because I've never purchased a television, but my roommate's already had digital capability.
