...You too, huh?

Happy birthday, Martha. I'll definitely stop by the lounge.

You okay?

It's yours too? What a coincidence! I think that's actually a bit neat. There are 365 days in a year, and our birthdays land on the very same day, and we're very good friends.

Happy birthday to you as well. I'll be glad to see you.

Yeah, I'm fine. I will be. Some days are harder than others, but every day is a step forward in one sense or another.

I think so, too. I'm honored to share this day with you, Martha. I'm grateful we're very good friends.

Thank you.

I know you will be.

Of that, Martha Jones, I never had any doubt.

I'm honored as well, Rachel, and equally grateful.

I've had a few myself, but it's nice to know that you haven't.

Happy birthday, Martha. A year ago but it seems like longer, don't it?

What kinda ice cream?

I think every year in Chicago feels like ten.

All kinds! Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry. I've even got some of those small containers that Ben and Jerry sells. All kinds of variety in that bunch. Chunky Monkey. Magic Brownies.

...there is probably far too much ice cream here.

There will hardly be any ice cream left once I'm through with 'em.

I'm gonna swing by, yeah?

There's also a gift I'd like to give you later on, too.

Good. I'd hate to think of ice cream going to waste.

Yeah.

Wes, you didn't have to

Okay.

Birthdays. Remarkable things, Martha Jones.

Well then. I'm going to discover the lounge by the cafeteria.

We'll talk on a day that isn't your birthday, yes? Soon? I'm off to see you now. No more writing.

Yes, I suppose they are.

Alright. I'd like that.

We will talk. Soon. Very soon. Tomorrow even, if you'd like. Im sorry for

I'll see you then in a few minutes. I doubt it takes you very long to 'discover' a lounge.

They are. Or rather, yours is. I'm afraid I won't be celebrating Johann Vaaler's birthday. All he did was invent the paper clip, after all. (He didn't, though. It was an entirely different species; long story, I'll tell you later.)

Tomorrow, then. Not today.

I said no writing, but I rather like this. Can you see me? I can see you! Look. I'm waving at y
