The End is Nigh!

End of the book, that is. I'm on the last appendix- yay! I'll be able to PDF it & get it sent to Skip so he can proof it by the end of the week, barring any disasters. It won't be *done* done until he goes through it & tells me what I need to fix & I fix them, but it's still pretty damn close. Which will make him, me, and vediskoerner all very happy campers ( Read more... )

Oh, it did. But the new computer has Vista, of course, & since she's had the printer a couple of years now it doesn't have Vista drivers.

By no means am I conversant about computers... but did you try checking at the HP site? I know when I got my new laptop Vista wouldn't recognize the printer we had (it's a Lexmark). I had to go to the Lexmark website and they had what I needed.

Yep. The website insists that Vista already has the driver & doesn't provide a download. In fact, their instructions on installing it boil down to "plug it in & your computer will load everything automatically".

I believe the premise of the quiz was that one MUST be tortured to be an artist. So, good for you! You clearly out-artist the likes of me! :D

• For joints: glucosamine, or a mix of glucosamine and chondroiten (more expensive). I’m having trouble with my joints, too. I’ve been taking glucosamine and chondroiten for about a month and I’ve seen clear results. My knees no longer complain when I sit or kneel down. I am told that my joint health will continue to improve over six the next months. I’ve heard several people swear by it.

If you think that working in a cold environment is part of the problem with your elbow, using moist heat might help. You could even try soaking it in a bath with Epsom salts (my new discovery!). I hope the kinks work themselves out soon.
