So I may possibly be going to Chicago this weekend after all. Possibly. There's an empty seat but someone's ahead of me on the waiting list. If she can't go (which is fairly likely- she'll probably have to work), then I get to go. Whether I can afford it or not is an entirely different story. That's awful about your friend. It seems to me that accidental death must be the most difficult kind to deal with. It's so completely meaningless.

Any sudden death, I think. My Dad's wasn't accidental but it being so completely unexpected ... you're just not prepared at *all* & it's like suddenly the ground's disappeared.

Not sure who you mean by RB, but neither of Johann's names have those initials. He was a BMDLer, which is to say in the Pittsburgh area.
