Roar!!

Well, I have good news and bad news.

The good news is that the masquerade is still going on, because my boyfriend's school has paid so much money into it and won't get a refund for cancelling it. So I still get to dress up and go out and be pretty and have a few drinks and a great time.

The bad news is that I can't shower. There are 5 apartments in ( Read more... )

I don't know if they know we share a water line. We definitely don't share a hot water heater, which I am extremely thankful for. I imagine they might listen if I got the guts to tell them, but how do you say politely "we need to ration our water usage because you like to use the water all the time and I am never clean because of this"? =/

And, for reals, it's "da na nanana" over and over and over. Super serial.

Oh man. Obnoxious neighbors are the worst. The people who live above us have a bathroom right over where we sit in the living room. The ceiling is wicked thin, so we can always hear them...

(shudders)

I'd imagine your neighbors would be pretty cool about it if you mentioned it to them. Maybe go up with a plate of cookies or something? Everyone wants to make the girl with cookies happy! :)

Have fun at the masquerade!

I feel like I'm going to be the girl with the cookies for a while. Especially after what happened tonight.

My other neighbours are actually friends of mine. I enjoy that! However, I don't like interacting with strange people that I'm forced to be cordial with when really I want to scream that they're stealing my well-deserved water. :P

I do not miss having same-building neighbors.

Granted, we just started sharing a house with my dad...which is SURE to have it's own collection of fun weirdnesses. But at least he's family!

Oh dear. Kudos on you for having the strength to live with family. I don't think I could do it again. I get along much better with them when I'm away from them than when we're all under each other's feet.

Wow! I'm sorry, but most of this made me lol. You will, too, when you're not mad! ;P

haha it's usually something I laugh about all the time. But sometimes it really rubs a nerve and I turn into the Hulk and do my fair share of stomping and roaring.
