I'm sitting here on a computer with a broken spacebar. Great. I'm supposed to be doing a piece of creative writing about the life of a carbon atom. Yes. That is the task. To pretend you are a carbon atom. And you have to make it last a page. Even better.

Yesterday I spent about 5 hours writing some English coursework. Our set text is The Curious

I did that!! Except that I was a water molecule and I had to write about my journey from gas to ice etc. My teacher got really cross with me because I missed out practically all the scientific details and wrote this heartbreaking story about the separation of a molecule and his family... he lost them in the city of the ice, since all the molecules were packed together!
She just put "Very creative, but lacking all basis in reality." It was very scorching, but I was in Y8 and me and Laura were doing all we could to piss her off... good days, good days...

Oh, yes, totally! It could be an epic romance, but as he's a solid he can't be with his one true love who is a liquid. It would be amazing literature - a Penguin classic! *light bulb*

Oh, I think I did another story like that about a food molecule and the journey into the stomach - I did a horrifying tale of how terrible and disgusting it was to be digested and swallowed and mixed with saliva. Once again, my teacher was mad.

Same with the English! I totally don't wanna know my mark! Once I gave it in and he read a bit of Andy's I know I'm gonna get like 15 or 16 mine was so rubbish for 5 hours work!
