After the setback of Prop 8 and the other emotionally trying events of the last two weeks, I decided to treat Tom and myself to a mini-getaway at Cavallo Point, the new "lodge at the Golden Gate" located on the grounds of Fort Baker at the Marin County foot of the Golden Gate Bridge.

That looks a lot more relaxing than watching and smelling LA burn...of course seeing a the moon turn red was amusing considering the events of the day.
