Sorry, flist, for not updating sooner. Notes On A Scandal and Kinsey were distracting me... that and I'm pretty sure my roommate read some of my slash so I'm kind of having a panic attack. WHY DID HE USE MY COMPUTER? WHY? Ahem, here be the fic:

Fortuitous, I had my iTunes on some sad Elliott Smith song so it's one big teary party woo.
The way Stephen kind of engineers it--devilish. God, he's got to feel so bad for that, with that reaction.
But oh, the last scene was raw. I can't quote all those paragraphs, but oh. Jon blaming himself, Stephen's hands leaping off as if burned, everything. But especially these:
“We’re drunk. It’s all right.”....“Drinking and driving and drinking and fucking are two completely different things,” he replies, his voice unintentionally cold.
“Go to bed Jon,” Stephen murmurs, his voice not unkind
Not unkind. SO SAD.
*looks for tissues* lovely.

Oh no! I'm sorry! This story made people a lot sadder than I intended... oops
Elliot Smith will do that though.
Stephen will cope. You'll see. That Stewart... he's just a tough nut to crack ;-)
THANKS FOR READING! Hopefully I'll be writing more soon...

Aw, thanks sweetums! This story is fun because I get to write from such a different perspective that's still oddly similar to my own. Does that make sense? Haha
Anyway, THANKS FOR READIIIING!

I smirked at the receptionist's smirk - ah, fangirls, they're we're everywhere.
I'm a bit confused about the cat part though. Seeing as Jon has had (still has?) cats it seemed slightly out-of-character (well, what I imagine his character to be). Or was it more about his being inebriated and fed-up being somewhere he didn't want to be, forced into a conversation he had no interest in with someone he had no interest in?

Yeah, that girl was totally not a Mary-Sue or anything. Nope. Nada. *twidles thumbs while whistling nonchalantly*

That's exactly it. Jon still loves all animals but while drunk, a man can only have so much patience with an avid cat lady. I mean, even I end up hating cats at the end of a conversation like that. And I love cats. They have such a wonderful "fuck you!" attitude that warms my soul :D

Oh. And this isn't the end the end, right?

You are wonderful! This story is wonderful. Your Jon and Stephen are wonderful and I'm just so happy right now. Well, also a little sad, for them, but happy because you write them so well and I like my boys with two shots of happy and one shot of sad.
Weeeee, nicest comment everrrrrr! Seriously, even more stupid grinning is happening on my end now :D I enjoy the boys that way too, as is obvious because I keep torturing them. Oh, sweet sweet sadism.
And no, this is not the end because, though sadistic, I'm not that sadistic. And I enjoy writing this too much. I've begun the next chapter but we'll see how that works out, knowing my writing patterns. But yeah, I'm planning on about 2 other chapters and then an epilogue perhaps.
THANKS FOR READING, SCHMOOPSIE!
