this? POETRY. like, this was Shakespeare. I mean it. it was GORGEOUS, and not just because YAY RESOLUTION AND THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE ALONE ANY MORE (though that's p[art of it cause OMG ROE. AND BABE. AND HOLY SHIT ROE AND BABE TOGETHER.) butbutbut WOMAN. The timing (OMG GRANT ;___;). Babe's inner-monologue. THE FRENCH. and ya know what I'll get back to that, I gotta go on about Babe's POV first cause this line: Babe, breathing through his nose as if the wind has been knocked out of him, blinks back, feeling like his tongue has grown too large for his mouth and his stomach is trying to crawl out of his ears. HI, PERFECT. HELLO, INCREDIBLY REAL-LIFE PAUSE-MOMENT WHEN SOMETHING THAT'S BEEN BUILDING UP FOREVER FINALLY HAPPENS, THAT MOMENT THAT'S EQUAL PARTS HOLY-SHIT-FINALLY AND COMPLETE TOTAL PANIC. you are amazing ( ... )

I died--this was magnificent and just.... I really don't have any words. Babe is so adorable, and Gene isn't so oblivious and just--alsk their entire chemistry was superb.

That was also quite possibly one of the most well-written and hottest scenes I have ever read.
