I'm gonna be a momma!!

Finally feels like the right time to share with my LJ friends that I'm pregnant!! 7 weeks today! I'm REALLY hoping this little one sticks and results in a healthy baby around May 3, 2007. It feels like soooo far away! I haven't written in this journal much, as the baby obsession has pretty much taken over right now and most of my online time

Wonderful news Raechelle!! Congratulations. I am wishing you both all the best, a healthy baby and an easy pregnancy.
Are ypu concerned that something might go wrong? I mean, you are young and all that .... but maybe you are just concerened anout the rule that you could lose the baby in the first three months.

Thanks so much! I'm pretty sure that I will have a healthy baby in the end. I just try to keep at the back of my mind the high statistical (between 15 and 50%) chance of miscarriage in the first trimester. But I do think I will be fine-- fingers crossed!

I'm sooooo hoping for a girl, but based on our conception timing (according to the Shettles method) I will likely be having a boy! I'd LOVE to inherit some of you hand-me-downs, as you have the absolute cutest stuff for Marissa... But you still have MANY years of fertility ahead of you, and by the way you enjoy being a momma so much, I'm sure you'll have another girl at some point;-)

I WISH!!! We've had troubles in that department, so I'm not sure it will ever happen. & I'm pretty sure it won't happen naturally. :( You are so lucky to have conceived right away!

Aww... sorry to hear that you have to deal with fertility issues. That was actually my very worst fear, so I feel EXTREMELY fortunate that we got so lucky so quickly! Fingers crossed taht you get what you need and want down the road...
