when i was a freshman in college my philosophy professor was leading the detroit area contingent for the protest down at ft. benning. she said that she had gotten arrested there like 3 times for crossing the line you aren't supposed to cross while you're peacefully protesting. i kind of wanted to go then and didn't, and now i sort of regret it.

what was your professor's name? one of my high school teachers also used to go and got arrested but i know it's not the same person cause she teaches at u of d high school now, and never taught college classes. you could still go if you wanted to. i think there are buses that leave out of somewhere in detroit the 3rd weekend of november. i've never been to it either. maybe we should go next year?

awww, i was in miami! well, i was at the airport on my way there and back for a few hours. on our way there we went out to lunch with my aunt, and the layover on the way back took forever cause we stayed in the damn airport!
