At this point, Peter barely bothers to have one hand on his gun when he steps into his house and hears voices when it should be empty. It's always Alex. Sometimes it's Alex and somebody else, but it's pretty much always Alex.
So when he looks into the kitchen and discovers who it is that's taken over, he doesn't look at all surprised.
"Is there something wrong with June's kitchen?" The question is not as unhappy as it seems on the surface. He doesn't really have any complaints about the two of them being there, and he's not even bothering to hide that he's pleased to see them.
On rare occasion it has been Neal too! He doesn't do it nearly as often because most of the time he's working with Peter but still, sometimes it's him too.
Alex grins when he enters, walking over and pressing a wine glass into his hands and kissing him quickly on the cheek while Neal waves from his spot in front of the fridge.
"No, not really," he says over his shoulder. "We just thought Satchmo could use the company."
"And you have more wine than Neal does," Alex adds, getting herself another glass.
"You'll get dinner out of it," Neal offers, finally walking voe to Peter so he can give him a quick kiss hello.
Yes, but it is comparatively rare. The point stays that break-ins are usually familiar faces, though.
"I'm sure Satch appreciates your consideration." He leans back against the wall with the wine glass after Neal's kiss, watching them and smiling at their explanation. He's going to head off soon, at least to get his holster off and put his keys away, but first he's taking a minute to enjoy the company. "What are you making?"
Speaking of Satch, he is going to wander into the kitchen now. Everyone else was in here and he sees no reason to be left out. Plus he can get more love here. He likes love. Someone should give him love.
"I don't think we've decided yet," Alex informs, settling on top of a counter with her glass and peering at Neal who still seems to be poking through the fridge.
"We've definitely not decided yet," Neal confirms. "Though I am leaning towards fish right now. How do you feel about salmon?"
Alex grins. "I can work with that and if worst comes to worst, we can always send Peter to the store."
Neal nods. "True, so salmon it is. I'm still not sure what we're doing for side dishes yet but at least we have a base for the main course."
Because a way to do it came to me and clearly we can never have enough tags, right?weshouldbestarsAugust 20 2011, 19:00:19 UTC
Diana had been planning on surprising Elizabeth.
Christie's meeting a friend, Peter and Clinton are stuck in the van, and Diana only had to be in her apartment long enough to change and put her gun away to decide that she's in the mood for company tonight. Besides, it's been a while since she's spent time with Elizabeth, and even longer since it's managed to be just the two of them.
Of course, she's the one who's going to end up with a surprise instead, but she doesn't know that when she knocks on the door. She has a key, and she's not sure Elizabeth will even be home yet, but she figures she should knock first in case she is.
Never. We can never have enough tags going.smileforalivingAugust 20 2011, 23:47:50 UTC
For a second, neither of them actually realize there's someone at the door, they're wrapped p in conversation and music and trying to figure out what they're doing., But after a couple of seconds, Neal stops what he's doing and looks at Alex with a confused expression.
She shru7gs because she has no idea who would be coming around that would actually bother to knock.
Well no, she had a couple of ideas but she assumed that anyone who would bother to knock would be busy right now.
Neal abandons his spot in front of the cabinets and heads for the door, opening it and looking surprised to see Diana. He had kind of assumed she would be on surveillance with Peter and Clinton.
"Hey," he says with a smile, stepping back to let her in. "What're you doing here?"
