That's pathetic...I don't even have the enthusiasm to think of a witty subject line for this entry.  Actually, it's not much of an entry...just something to amuse myself (and perhaps a few others) and keep LJ from marking me down as deceased.  Observation...

There's this cartoon I've become fond of recently.  We've got two stepbrothers.  One is ( Read more... )

I never once watched Phineas and Ferb, as my kids are in the last stages of animation-love. That is freaky! Another friend of mine tells me that a lot of plot lines and actual dialog lines from D/J are used all the time on Two and A Half Men, which I also do not watch. I guess people can't get enough of a popular idea.

In other news, I heard there are nude photos of Drake that have been leaked to the internet. I knew it was only a matter of time before someone started talking, showing. But no, I haven't seen (or even looked for them).

Also not surprised that Dan left LJ: he achieved what he wanted, boosting iCarly's rating, getting followers on Twitter, and an Emmy nom. Some of the fans, presuming them to be in the age demographic of the show's target audience, posted a lot of childish complaints. He definitely didn't seem like the type to brook any dissent or criticism, so he stayed on Twitter but moved his blog to blogspot. You might have heard all this before me, I haven't had much computer time lately.

Didn't know about the photos (egad) or Dan leaving LJ. I'm constantly bemused as to why well-known people allow themselves to be photographed sans clothing anyway. Eventually, it's going to get posted somewhere. (Granted, some people WANT the publicity...but I don't think Drake does...not that kind, anyway.)

I don't think I watched a great deal of cartoons as a kid. We use to do the unheard of--play outside in the sun instead of sitting glazed-eyed in front of the screen for hours. I guess I'm making up for it now. I need something funny every now and then to distract me, and P&F really is cute. Some of the dialogue and humor is definitely not geared to be understood by grade schoolers.

I've decided I have the flu. It's never going away. I have coughed until I'm wobbly. Darned germs.
