She looked back at him, seated in his cell. The fire in her eyes had not left, not since he had walked up to the Palace Gates and surrendered himself.

He didn’t blame her. He’d promised to love her, right before he destroyed her world. Then he’d kidnapped her on a bus and tried to steal her soul.

“Would it be allright if I wrote to you from time to time?”

Tears prick at her eyes, but she can not let them show. She turns and walks away. But she does not say no.
