<< Part 1 - Obsession

A gentle yet distant lullaby, it resounded from the girl’s lips. Silently, she hummed to herself a melody so familiar; it flowed through without difficulty. The sound of sweet melody, like sunlight to her garden, it freely caressed one rose so beautiful it glowed.
“She used to sing that to me when I was a kid.” Small careful lips whispered longing words to the thorny flower-the only friend she had when her mother left.
Drowning the words of agony, she quietly hummed to herself again.
The silhouette of her father standing by the window remained unnoticed. He continued to watch her, eyes not masking the pain of a father for her daughter’s suffering. “I will never forgive her for doing this to us.” How could a mother leave her child for another man? From then on, he promised himself to do whatever it takes to protect her daughter. “You’ll never hurt again.”

Heavy eyelids slowly fluttered open when his consciousness finally decided to join in. The moment Jaejoong felt the unbearable headache, a series of loud swear words disrupted the silence, startling the other man sleeping next to him.
Groaning in displeasure, Yunho’s hand sleepily reached for Jaejoong’s mouth clamping it shut and mumbled “Shut up” in his half-asleep state.
“Yunho? What are you doing in my roo-“ Then sudden flashes of him and Yunho eating at a restaurant came flooding back. They were laughing, had a couple of drinks, and then… he couldn’t remember what happened.
He sat up wondering who brought them back to the apartment. Was it their manager, or the other three? His eyes strained trying to take in his dark surrounding. Something was different. It was a little too dark in the room. Why was it too dark? He tried to reach inside his pocket for his phone when he realized… there was no pocket. No piece of clothing to attach the pocket to.
Slightly confused, he shoved the blanket off him and Yunho, his eyes squinting for a clearer view.
“OH MY GOD!” Jaejoong shrieked in panic, indecent thoughts of what might have happened scared him. Drunk plus naked bodies don’t go well together. Are we in a hotel?
“What, what now?!” Yunho jumped up in surprise.
“Yunho! Why are we naked?!” Jaejoong was pulling the blanket up to his chest, unnecessarily covering his nakedness from the other. Yunho could barely see a thing.
“Why are you asking me?” the other mumbled sleepily which might have infuriated Jaejoong because Yunho heard an infuriating scowl seconds after.
“I can’t really see right now, but I know you’re giving me that look!” Yunho sat up, rubbing his eyes a little. “I swear… I don’t know what’s going on!” He answered before looking down feeling his bare skin rubbing against the soft linen. He really was naked. Yunho was just as stunned as Jaejoong. Whatever the hell happened last night, he couldn’t remember a thing.
“We didn’t… You think we…” Jaejoong’s words trailed into confusion, mouth gaping in fear of what they could have done in their drunken state.
“Don’t say that. Sober or not, there’s no way in hell I’d ever do that with a guy.” Yunho was beyond shock himself that he didn’t catch the tinge of pain his words inflicted on the other man.
Was the thought of doing it with me that disgusting? Jaejoong was momentarily lost in his own thoughts before shifting nervously on the bed. “You fool, well neither will I!”
Yunho scoffed.
“I’m sure they’re just playing with us. I’ll go talk to them.” Yunho got up hurriedly to reprimand the other members, especially the youngest. And partly to just get away from this very awkward situation. He was almost out of bed when a shooting pain hit him on the face.
“OW~! What the hell was that?!” Yunho cried in grief.
“What’s what?” Jaejoong turned to his side in attempt to switch on the bedside lamp. But instead bumped his head into something cold and hard.
“OW~!” Jaejoong tried to feel what was blocking them. Yunho did the same on the other side. Jaejoong felt his heart rate speed up when he sensed something was awfully wrong. It was starting to scare him.
“Y-Yun…” Jaejoong called softly.
“Okay, now this joke’s gone too far! This is way out of line.” The other man was shaking the barricade violently, noise echoing throughout the entire space. “Guys, it’s not funny anymore!” Yunho roared, anger evident in his dangerous tone.
“Yunho, I don’t think they can hear you from here. I don’t think they can hear us at all.” Jaejoong said nervously.
“What are you talking about?” Yunho turned to Jaejoong, confusion in his voice.
“Just shut up, you idiot. Someone’s coming.”
They heard the door click open. All they could make out in the dark was a figure approaching them. Soft clunks of… was that high heels? Jaejoong immediately knew the person was a woman.
And then as if mocking his suspicion, a familiar voice spoke in the gentlest manner confirming his thoughts.
“Oh good. I was wondering when you’d wake up.”
“Who are you?” Jaejoong narrowed his eyes, trying to see who was behind the shadows, but was only answered by a barely audible chuckle.
He heard Yunho whisper to his ears, “I think I recognize that voice from somewhere.”
“Me too.” Jaejoong nodded, feeling the same thing.
Soon enough, light flooded the entire room piercing their eyes. The brightness was blinding. Noticing their discomfort, she stood still, waiting patiently for their vision to adjust.
Then there was a sharp intake of breath. Jaejoong repeatedly rubbed his eyes to focus his blurry vision, his mouth parting in shock. They were in a freaking cage. Him and Yunho were in a caged bed, naked. The room was luxurious, wall painted in pearl red. Yunho was as speechless realizing the graveness of the situation.
“You! You’re that waitress!” Yunho didn’t know what to make of what was happening.
“I am glad you remember,” she mused. “What… can I get you?” she asked mockingly, using the same sweet tone she used at the restaurant.
It was then that realization hit them like lightning bolt.
“Jaejoong, she must’ve slipped something in our drinks.” Yunho whispered.
“Ha! I knew something was off. That one soju bottle couldn’t have gotten me drunk. You know I-“
“Jaejoong,” The taller man snapped, “not now!” It wasn’t exactly the best time to boast about his high tolerance for alcohol.
“Oh, sorry-“ Jaejoong was cut off by her sudden fit of giggle, making them stare at her incredulously. What the hell was so funny?
“Lovely,” she cooed, “It’s always fun to watch you lovebirds bicker like that.”
“Okay, people should stop thinking like we’re together. We are not… together… like that!” Jaejoong was flailing his hands to prove his point.
“Yes, not at all!” Yunho added, nodding his head vigorously.
She scoffed at YunJae’s attempt of denying their relationship.
“Oh for god’s sakes woman, ever heard of the word fan service?” Yunho heaved a heavy sigh, deciding this was going to be hard.
“Just fan service?” she hummed in thought. “You know it’s more than that.”
“Enough with this nonsense. Where did you take us? Let us go right now!” Jaejoong was his usual stubborn self, demanding release.
“We’ll get to that, Jaejoong. But first I want you to show me.”
“Show you what?” Jaejoong had a feeling this was going to be bad.
“Well,” she paused, “You’re telling me you don’t have feelings for each other.” She then playfully leaned back against the door, cocking her head to the side to which Jaejoong acknowledged with an eye roll, mocking her for stating the obvious.
“I want you to kiss.”
Yunho let out a chuckle of disbelief-and uneasiness. Jaejoong on the other hand froze but kept his silence and let Yunho do the talking this time.
“Hey, lady, SERIOUSLY, what part of we don’t have-“
“-feelings for each other. I get it.” She continued. “Well, if that’s how it works, then you won’t mind granting my request. No feelings involved, just fanservice, right?” She smiled.
“T-That’s ridiculous! We can’t do that! We’re MEN! We can’t… kiss-”
“Ah,” she crossed her arms coming up with an idea. “How about we make a deal? Do that one thing for me and I’ll let you go.”
“How do we know we can trust you?” Jaejoong suddenly asked, stunning Yunho.
“You don’t… but you will have to, seeing that you don’t have any other choice.”
“Jaejoong! You’re not considering…” Yunho’s mouth gaped.
“Stop being a wuss, Yunho.” Jaejoong snapped. “It’s just a kiss. It’s not like she’s asking us to get married.”
“Why yes, now that you mention it, getting you married seems like a better idea.”
Both men paled. Jaejoong looked like he wanted to hit himself, while Yunho wanted to knock the wits out of Jaejoong for even opening his… small, sexy mouth, and his lips red from constant worrying of his teeth.
Wait-what? Yunho cleared his head, hoping the woman wasn’t serious.
“You’re joking, right?”
“Maybe, maybe not.” She paused for effect, before clenching her tummy barking out a laugh. That petrified look on both men was just too hilarious. “Lighten up. Of course I wasn’t serious. There’s no need for that actually since you two act like a married couple already.” She laughed again. “Really… you two.” She shook her head in amusement.
Jaejoong and Yunho shared a concerned look that pretty much agreed on the same thing: THE LADY WAS NUTS.
“So,” she sighed, calming herself, “Do we have a deal?”
“No, we’re not doing-“
“We’ll do it.” Jaejoong said blankly, interrupting Yunho.
“Jaejoong!” He wasn’t sure if he heard him right. “Are you insane?!”
“What, do you want to leave this place, or not?!” Jaejoong thought this absurdity should stop now even if it meant kissing… Oh God, Help! GET US OUT OF HERE!
“Come on, there must be some other way!” Yunho’s eyes were pleading, but didn’t give the woman the fulfillment of seeing him in despair.
“What are you so worried about, Yunho-sshi?” There was a knowing smirk on her face that irked Yunho so much he wanted to strangle her. “Are you afraid you’ll prove me right?”
“It’s not like that,” Yunho pulled on his hair in frustration. “We’re both men! Of course I am uncomfortable with all this, you psycho!”
“Now, now, there’s no need for that. You don’t want me to change my mind, do you? Or would you rather stay here… stuck with Jaejoong in a cage naked?” she hummed in satisfaction at Yunho’s flushed face. “Ah, Yunho-sshi, you’d like that, don’t you?”
“You really are a sick pervert.” Yunho would have launched at her if it weren’t for the steel bars between them. The blanket dangerously slipped down Yunho’s navel, too close to flashing Jaejoong his holy grail.
Jaejoong’s eyes bulged, grabbing Yunho’s shoulder urging him to stay still.
Yunho glared back, but the look on Jaejoong’s face made him look down. How could he forget? They were naked right now. All the more he was convinced to end the psycho’s life.
“Stop,” Jaejoong hissed, his fingers firm on Yunho’s shoulder, “don’t let her get to you.” He shot the lady a nasty look, before turning to his friend with calming words on his soft lips. “Yunho, it’ll be okay. If it bothers you that much, just think like you’re kissing some… girl,” Jaejoong's voice deflating at the thought of Yunho preferring if his lips were instead to kiss someone from the opposite sex.
“Jaejoongie, listen, she’s toying with us.” Yunho said, glancing at her direction.
Jaejoong was torn. Maybe Yunho was right, giving in to this obsessed fans idea would just influence her to play with them like puppets. Hell they even looked like puppets at the moment, ready to put on a show... only naked minus the strings.
Noticing that Jaejoong was second-guessing his decision, she smiled adding words of promise. “You have my word.” She pressed, urging the handsome pale man to look up. “A deal’s a deal.”
Yunho was desperate. What baffled him most was he was not exactly sure what bothered him. There was nothing to lose. It was just a kiss! There was a chance she might actually let them go. But he was worried how it would affect the friendship between him and Jaejoong. The thought of having to kiss him… was making him really nervous.
“This is a bad idea.” He tried talking Jaejoong out of it, but at the same time trying to convince himself as well since he was now easing into the idea as well.
“I know.” A soft, uneasy reply from Jaejoong was all he got. Hearing extreme anxiety from him made Yunho break and decided to just give it a go. There was nothing to lose, he assured himself. Nothing.
Sighing in defeat, Yunho shifted in his position to face the smaller figure.
“Okay, let’s get this over with.” This better work.
And boy was she delighted! Their captor didn’t speak anymore. Softly smiling to herself, she watched them prepare of what was to come. She nodded, encouraging them not to mind her and just go on with it.
“Here goes...” Jaejoong puckered up, the redness of his lips being an unbearable tease. He pecked Yunho on the lips but quickly pulling away before the other could even blink. “…and done!”
It was almost… comical.
Yunho wanted to look satisfied-was that even a kiss? He forced a smile and smugly turned around to face the lady. But the expression on her face quickly wiped the grin off him.
With the way her eyebrows were raised, it clearly was saying ‘What the fuck was that?’. Yunho and Jaejoong knew they weren’t off the hook. Not just yet.
“You’re kidding me right? A peck? A PECK? Even kids can do better than that.” She laughed at their attempt before gesturing for them to continue. “Now stop fooling around like chickens. Enough with the pecking, and show me the real thing!”
Jaejoong groaned. What was he supposed to do? Surprisingly, it was Yunho who held him by the face this time. His warm hands were cupping his pale cheeks, thumbs just below his chin. Jaejoong iced up at the proximity.
He could tell Jaejoong was as nervous as he was. In an effort to lessen the tension, Yunho rolled his eyes with a slight chuckle.
“I kinda have to agree. That was awful.”
Jaejoong was of course even more embarrassed hearing him say that.
“You sick bastard. What kind of kiss were you expecting?!” Jaejoong tried to pull away but firm hands were keeping him still.
“I was expecting something like…”
Words were gradually muted for Jaejoong’s thoughts had already begun to cloud. He closed his eyes, letting himself drown at the feel of soft lips pressed against his own. Why his heart was beating so fast… he honestly didn’t know.
His arms were hanging limp but soon brought back to life when Yunho’s tongue nudged at his lips to part. His hands slowly went up and involuntarily raked through the other’s golden brown locks. The kiss that started hesitant and awkward continued to go in a direction of sweetness and passion. Their lips moved with scorching fluidity as soon as they stopped thinking and just started to feel.
The kiss deepened as moisture of heavy breath tickled their swaying lips. They whimpered urging for more-
“I guess that settles it then.”
As soon as she spoke up reminding them of her unwanted company, both men snapped out of their daze and quickly pulled away from the steamy kiss.
She was way more than delighted now. She stood up, grinning from ear to ear. It was evident they needed some serious talking, so she decided to give these poor souls some ‘personal space’.
“Stay the night. You’ll leave in the morning.”
The door shut which signaled her leave.
Jaejoong held his swollen lips not believing what just happened. He couldn’t look at Yunho who obviously was as lost and caught in that moment as he was.
“I…I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have agreed to…” Jaejoong stuttered thinking it was his fault this happened.
“No, it’s fine. I mean, as long as she keeps her end of the bargain.”
Jaejoong nodded still nervous at how chilly the air had suddenly become.
Really, he shouldn’t have agreed to that stupid idea. It was his fault Yunho’s acting weird now. He didn’t want it to put an end to their close relationship, so he needed to make sure everything was fine-although he wasn’t sure if he was doing fine himself.
Braving the inner turmoil suddenly plaguing his whole being, he decided to ask in a husky whisper. “It… didn’t mean anything, right?”
Yunho looked down, his fingers intertwined on his lap. He gave no answer.
Angered at the indifference, Jaejoong forcefully grab Yunho by the shoulder to face him. He was rendered speechless at the play of emotions on the younger’s eyes. What was on his mind?
“Yunho,” Jaejoong tried again with words that bore seriousness. “It was nothing, right?” His voice eventually broke because of the unexplainable tension.
Still not getting an answer. He was almost ready to punch the needed 'yes' out of Yunho when something weird happened. Jaejoong was pulled in closer, eyes widening when Yunho slid a hand around his nape. A thumb rested on his flustered cheek, giving his skin a gentle stroke.
Yunho inched his face closer to Jaejoong’s ear, lips parting for his words to escape.
“Was it nothing? You tell me.”
And then before Jaejoong's mind could register, his senses were already blinded with sparks… lightning sparks. Yunho captured his lips for another kiss, drowning words of protest and shock into a whimper. Jaejoong got his answer alright.
