In Which there is Minor Introspection

So I haven't really updated in what, a year? A lot happens in a year, and this one was no exception. I might as well give you the run-down, so here it is, condensed just for you ( Read more... )

Please be back. It was sad to join lj and have you not really be there too!

I'm sorry about the stupid drama; people are so thoughtless far too often. I hope the troll Stays Away.

And BTW, way to be awesome at the running! I am trying to revamp my running myself. How often a week and for how far do you run usually?

I know, I know... and yes, I hope that he does as well.

:) thanks! Ummmm... well I have to go to PT every MWF mornings from 6.15-7.15 and there is usually running involved... I would say that just working out in general improves your run time, though (like doing stadiums). When we do runs, it's usually around 2 or 3 miles, but usually we don't JUST run because PT tests are push-ups, sit-ups, and running. We do other things, though, like ruck marches - marching with 20 lbs on your back, plus your LBE with full canteens, plus a duck (fake M16) in your hands - at a 4 mile/hr pace all over campus for 4+ miles (Friday we're going 5). We also do stadiums and Indian runs and a lot of the time, we do stuff like run a lap/2 laps, do 50% of your pu/su score, then repeat...

So short answer, I work out at least 3 mornings a week plus whatever else I feel like doing...

If you're back, great, as you're a good read. If not, be happy and enjoy life offline!

Though on the running thing...go you!

Hehe thanks on both counts :) I am enjoying life indeed!

I will never be able to run as far as you :( simply put, I hate it. But it actually is nice to be forced to do it because I wouldn't be able to motivate myself to do it by myself...

Holy crap you have been busy. Hahaha, you do more in a year that I have down in three. Have fun running around with your model M16 (just wanted to brag that I have fired a real one).

I too, once thought that I had outgrown LJ. So I moved on to debating in internet forums. It didn't go so well. People, like the ones stalking your journal, are ignorant morons who think there opinions actually mean something outside of the outhouse they call a brain. Also, someone decided to send a counter rebuttal in the form of a computer virus.

Can't escape the nonsense that is society.

Haha thanks :) I have fired a handgun but not an M16 - that will come this summer! And next year, and the year after that...

Yes, people can be really weird and awkward and dumb sometimes.

Ft. Knox is a fun place, I have been there a couple of times. If you get a chance, volunteer to roleplay during training missions at Zussman. That place is really, really cool(and you get to get your butt kicked by Seals and Rangers). I am glad to see you are doing well.
