Hey Sme,
As promised, here are a few recs, in various moods.

First of all, for a bit of a change, and absolutely perfect for banishing melancholia, is the ridiculously named, but utterly, utterly glorious Matching-Muff Matrimony by eloiselovelace. It's a Harry Potter Ginny Weasley/Pansy Parkinson fic, and it's hilarious, sarcastic, sexy, and surprisingly romantic. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. Do yourself a favour, read it. It's just FABULOUS.

Next up, for a complete change of tone, is daneorange's Lily/Meg RPF Giving up the ghost. Poignant, sweet, sad, achingly beatiful; this is really too lovely for words.

And, because you mentioned you're a Bleighton fan, the next two are Bleighton pirate AU fics (not Jen's, which I still haven't read, but which I really must, very soon). Get ready to buckle your swash, cos these are really rather fab. They're by 08adabry. Firstly, Part 1 and Part 2 of "Having also a roving mind ( ... )

Love you Simon! Joined the Bleighton group - big hardship! Can those two work the ghey anymore? I don't think so. So what is it with all the bleighton pirate fic? Do you know how that started? I think it's hilarious, and, though I haven't read it yet, undoubtedly HOT.
I love that you're a hopeless romantic with a penchant for unmentionable things - as am I - LOL! The world needs more of us. Thanks for the recs. I'm making my way through some other fic you sent my way - and will send you a line about my thoughts.

They really do embrace the ghey don't they? One of Jen's posts a while ago was titled "I don't think they could be any gheyer even if they were actually ~ ghey", which says it all really. They really know how to bring it :D

The bleighton pirate theme is hilarious, isn't it? And yes, incredibly hot although I couldn't even begin to explain why.
I'm not sure how it all started, but I know that pirateygoodness is rather active on the comm, and she wrote the fabulously named "i must be hunting treasure ('cause I'm digging your chest)" -I haven't read that yet either, cos it's f-locked on her journal :(, but I have a feeling that some time soon I'll see if she's amenable to me taking a look, cos how could I not read something with such a hilarious title? Given her user-name, I think we can take a guess of the inspiration for all those pirate fics ( ... )

Oh my god - I'm obviously not embarrassed by anything Simon! Link away. That is the funniest title I've ever come across!! I bow down before her kinky brilliance. We should form a community for hopeless romantics with a penchant for unmentionable things, though I'm sure it would be the usual suspects that we interact with now - LOL!
