So here’s the trick that no one talks about.

Baby boomers had their houses paid off by the time they were 50. They retire and don’t pay rent for a mortgage.

Gen X will have their houses paid off by the time they are 50 or 75. They can’t retire until they have paid off their mortgage. Then they can retire and not pay for a mortgage.

Mind you, Boomers had a lot to do with creating the conditions in which Gen Z will go through life. If it comes to that, so did the "Greatest Generation." The current situation took centuries to create. To understand how we got this way, we have to go back to Rousseau and the French Revolution, at least, and probably much farther back than that.

No, they didn't. They were in the train tracks, but the Gen Z went on a completely different, Big Pharma self entitled track that is outside of every boundary. Move to Russia and see what life is supposed to be like.

The new generation can't afford a house because the economy is garbage. Folks are having difficulties paying rent and keeping up with expenses. Buying a house with the interest rates as they are would be foolish. Thank you politicians.
