Something about this story has really gotten under my skin, in that good way that great stories can. At first I was unsure how I'd feel about it, given the affair aspect and the sadness of the death of a child, but it's not about grief so much as it's about life going on and how Puck wants to feel alive and happy while Quinn is just sleepwalking through her existence. I hope she finds help and happiness, but I think it's clear that it can't be with Puck -- it's obvious that while they may have come to care for each other, even love each other in some way, their real connection was only through Beth and they can't survive that loss.

I felt like Noah still really kind of cared about Quinn, and it was like tearing me up about this story, but this chapter made it a lot easier. :)

It's horrible how marriages almost always break up after a child's death, but it's reality. And I just feel like this portrays such a real picture and it's got such good depth and god damn it hurts, but in a good way.

I love how this fic is the foil to If You Don't Love Me, Pretend now with Puck being the one in between two and having to choose between Rachel and someone else. Angst galore <333
